Adoption Support FAQ

What does adoption look like?

We help you understand the opportunities of open adoption, and what that looks like as your child grows up. If you prefer a closed adoption or semi-open adoption we will ensure both birth parents and adoptive parents understand and support the plan in the best interests of the baby.

Can I receive financial support?

We help you learn about financial support before and after birth. It is important that birth parents get back on their feet, receive appropriate counseling and medical care, housing and other support as needed. We ensure you know how to apply for benefits you are allowed by law, and what financial support you might be provided by adoptive parents.

I need to talk to someone, when are you available?

Everyone we work with will always have our 24/7 support. We will walk beside you in this emotional time. We are friendly, safe, non-judgemental, and we never use an answering service.

What happens in the hospital?

We will help you create a hospital plan so everyone knows what to expect when baby is born. We make sure the birth plan is your choice, and that everyone is supported. We want you to feel comfortable during birth, delivery, and discharge.

Who will help support me during my pregnancy?

Our adoption attorney, caring birth parent counselors, and doula work together to ensure everyone is treated with respect, in a non-judgemental environment.

Where do you offer adoption support?

We serve women in the North Florida area but can work with women in any part of the state of Florida! Contact us and we will discuss any and all support you may need.
